SumoQuote had built something genuinely different in the contractor software space — a proposal platform that gave trade businesses a level of professionalism their industry had never really seen. The challenge was making sure the brand said that before a single word was read. We ran a focused brand sprint to articulate what made SumoQuote a true category challenger. This presented a territory for us to base the name on. After we landed on a name, we moved into visual territory exploration to find a brand direction that felt dominant and distinct — nothing in the space looked like this, and that was exactly the point. The resulting brand system — naming, logo, color palette, typography, and branded elements — was built to project confidence and authority at every touchpoint. The kind of brand that makes a contractor proud to hand over a proposal. SumoQuote was acquired by JobNimbus in 2024. The brand did its job.
